Sorry for the delay in posting. I've been getting ready for my gallery in March at Cafe Ibis and a class I taught for the Cache Valley Photographers group (swell bunch of folks!). I did get out and shoot today and had fun. Can't post much yet, but here is one overlooking the island in Logan. I'll still be a little sparse in posting but keep checking in. Thanks for looking! Comments on what you'd do different or what you like are very welcome!
Love it! I think i would have been tempted to really blow the whites out to emphasize the whiteness. But I think the restraint you showed provides a greater tonal range and likely a better picture..i mean image. keep it up.

The frost on the tree with the contrast of the dark branches.
THe mountain backdrop
The sun in the sky
WHat I find distracting:
The tree branch in the bottomleft corner draws my eye out of the photo.
All in all, a great photo!
